Beyond waterproof.
Waterproof covers react to water. Plasma repels it. The outer layer is hydrophobic at a material level so water cannot settle on the surface, let alone seep through. This isn't a coating. It's built into every fibre. The difference: a waterproof cover gets wet and holds. Plasma stays dry.
